Job Requirements

- Ability to work variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- 1+ years experience in food service or hospitality
- High School diploma or equivalent

- 1+ years of experience in hospitality, catering, banquets, bar service, or event operations
- Strong multitasking skills with ability to switch roles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service policies and local liquor laws
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Experience in high-end hospitality, private events, or entertainment venues preferred
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) preferred
- Food handling certification (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
- Familiarity with luxury service standards and fine dining etiquette preferred
- Customer service experience
Job Duties
- Oversee the execution of beverage service during private events, act as the on-site point person for setup, service, and breakdown
- Ensure all bar areas are properly stocked, organized, and staffed prior to guest arrival
- Monitor service flow, address real-time issues, and consistently deliver high-quality guest experiences
- Coordinate post-event breakdown and verify that all bar areas are cleaned, restocked, and secured according to Fox Theatre standards
- Supervise part-time bar and service staff, ensuring team members are well informed and prepared
- Coach and mentor staff on the floor to reinforce five-star guest service expectations
- Assist in training new staff on service procedures, product knowledge, and safety protocols
- Maintain an active and approachable presence during events to ensure attentive and professional guest service
- Support the bar team in delivering timely and knowledgeable service, assist with VIP and client-specific requests, and resolve service issues promptly
- Manage inventory during events by monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies
- Participate in monthly inventory counts of all private event beverage products
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and stored correctly, reporting any damages or maintenance needs
- Enforce compliance with local health, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate closely with the Private Events Manager, culinary team, ATR, and other internal stakeholders for seamless event execution
- Communicate effectively with staff to implement service strategies and share guest feedback
- Support a high level of collaboration to ensure consistency and excellence across private event services
- Perform other duties as required
