Job Description

Biospan is a specialized culinary placement company dedicated to connecting skilled chefs with private households that value nutrition-led, whole-food cooking. Our clientele ranges from busy families to entrepreneurs and performance-driven professionals who appreciate the balance of flavor and function in their meals. As a company, we prioritize the use of simple, organic ingredients, smart preparation systems, and consistent execution to meet our clients' unique dietary needs and health goals. Founded on the principles of clean eating and nutritional integrity, Biospan ensures each chef we place is equipped to deliver exceptional culinary experiences tailored to individual household preferences and protocols.

Biospan focuses on maintaining seasonal, straightforward menus that emphasize efficient mise en place and batch preparation where appropriate, ensuring time-efficient and high-quality meal production. Our chefs work closely with a dedicated nutrition team, receiving expert input to fine-tune macros, ingredient swaps, or specific dietary protocols when necessary. However, chefs maintain full ownership and creative control over the cooking process, allowing them to showcase their skills while adhering to nutritional guidelines. We believe thorough communication and detailed logging of dishes, portions, client preferences, allergies, and feedback form the backbone of successful collaboration and continual improvement.

We are currently offering a part-time private chef position based in Dallas. This role involves working five days per week at the client’s home, preparing meals that satisfy both nutrition and taste. The working schedule is consistent, with each day defined as a 'Standard'. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning aligned with specific dietary requirements, purchasing quality ingredients with grocery expenses reimbursed, skillfully cooking and batch-prepping meals, and maintaining an impeccably clean and organized kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional kitchen experience, with private chef experience being highly preferred. The role requires someone organized, discreet, punctual, and committed to leaving the kitchen spotless after every service. Essential qualifications include a valid driving license, active chef insurance, and a clear background check. Additionally, a keen interest in nutrition and a calm, systematic approach to meal preparation will greatly contribute to success in this position.

At Biospan, we prioritize the well-being of our chefs and clients alike, fostering an environment of professional growth, nutritional excellence, and culinary creativity. If you are passionate about delivering whole-food meals that nurture health and performance and enjoy working closely with a dynamic nutrition team, this role offers a unique opportunity to make an impactful difference in private households. We encourage interested candidates to complete a brief application form detailing their experience, location, and availability, ensuring a smooth and targeted placement process.
