We are currently seeking a dedicated and talented Private Family Chef to join a private household team in Bloomfield. This exclusive role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands both creativity and attention to detail. The position is primarily Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility required to work overtime when necessary. Additionally, when the Principal is in town periodically, the Chef will need to cover weekend and evening hours.
This role involves working closely with the House Manager to prepare, cook, and manage all food and beverages across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing meals that meet high standards of taste, presentation, and nutrition. They will have the opportunity to source and order premium ingredients, maintain inventory to ensure freshness and quality, and uphold stringent hygiene and food safety practices in the kitchen.
