Job Requirements
- High school education preferred
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
- Must obtain government required licenses such as food handler certification, alcohol service permits (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe)
- CPR and first aid training preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent lifting of 25 lbs
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must have good vision, hearing, and communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in luxury food and beverage operations
- At least 3 years experience in management roles
- Proven leadership of diverse teams across dining concepts
- Strong knowledge of fine dining service and beverage programs
- Experience in training, mentoring, and performance management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in POS and reservation systems
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Serve as acting restaurant manager during PTO and staff absences
- Perform opening and closing procedures and lead shifts
- Adapt to various service styles ensuring luxury standards
- Conduct regular service audits reviewing brand and compliance standards
- Perform service observations to assess team performance
- Document audit findings and follow up on corrective actions
- Lead onboarding and orientation for new food and beverage managers
- Conduct 90-day performance assessments for new managers
- Partner with learning and development for training sessions
- Provide coaching for managers based on observations
- Engage professionally with guests and members
- Handle escalated guest concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate records of audits and training
- Provide weekly reports to director of food and beverage
- Assist in developing SOPs for consistency
- Oversee food and beverage reservationist position
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and reporting
- Act as liaison for restaurant reservation needs between departments
