Job Requirements
- Associate's degree from two-year college or university
- one to two years related experience and/or training
- ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and maintenance instructions
- ability to write reports and correspondence
- strong verbal communication skills
- ability to calculate mathematical figures
- understanding of basic algebra and geometry
- common sense for carrying out instructions
- problem-solving in standardized situations
- physical endurance to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, sit, taste, or smell
- specific vision capabilities needed for the job
- ability to work in moderate noise and variable weather conditions
- willingness to obtain or maintain company Food Safety Certification

Job Duties
- Manages 10-15 subordinates
- trains associates
- plans, assigns, and directs work
- appraises performance
- rewards and disciplines associates
- addresses complaints and resolves problems
- maintains store conditions per company standard to improve profitability
- maximizes department sales and profits
- develops and maintains team concept to improve morale and communications
- maximizes store profits and gross profit through effective merchandising
- achieves or surpasses productivity and payroll goals
- maintains customer service levels according to company standards
- complies with company and governmental sanitation standards
- ensures weekly on-hand inventory goals through proper ordering practices
- manages others and adheres to company human resource and personnel policies and legal regulations
- establishes working relationship with support staff and supervisors
- develops daily/weekly workload plans and coordinates responsibilities
- executes merchandising directives
- ensures proper maintenance and safe use of equipment
- ensures proper usage compliance and handling of supplies
- responsible for opening or closing store where applicable
- establishes community involvement
- holds or obtains company recognized Food Safety Certification
