The Assistant Night Crew Chief position at Price Rite is a vital role within the Operations department that reports directly to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Night Crew Chief. This role is responsible for supervising night crew clerks to ensure that all grocery merchandise is priced accurately, stocked properly, faced neatly, and rotated efficiently. Job Duties
- Observe store rules and company policies
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and observe company dress code
- Adhere to shift operating hours as scheduled
- Follow all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations
- Promote customer satisfaction by ensuring correct pricing and signage
- Rotate products in storage and on display to ensure freshness
- Maintain proper shelf allocations for maximum sales and profit
- Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules
- Remove trash and cardboard to designated areas and operate baler
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy
- Notify supervisor of product shortages
- Take overstock to appropriate storage areas
- Build product displays
- Organize and clean backroom stock
- Unload trucks as necessary
- Operate power equipment and bailer
- Perform cash handling functions for night crew
- Use store security systems and keys per policies
- Obtain and maintain a company-recognized Food Safety Certification
- Perform other assigned duties
