As an Assistant Night Crew Chief within Price Rite's Operations Department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the store's attractive image during the night hours by overseeing the night crew clerks' performance in pricing, stocking, facing, and rotating merchandise in the grocery area. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Night Crew Chief, this position is integral to ensuring that store shelves are fully stocked, properly signed, and that products are fresh and displayed in an orderly manner. This job requires close attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively supervise and support the night crew team. Safety regulations and company policies guide all activities to uphold the highest standards for cleanliness, product handling, and store security. Additionally, this role involves a variety of tasks such as unloading trucks, operating equipment like the Telxon and bailer, managing stockroom organization, and performing cash handling duties during the night shift.
