Job Requirements

Preferred knowledge and practice of CACFP guidelines
At least 1 year experience as a chef/cook or in related field
Must have and maintain Food Handlers Card
High school diploma preferred
Current and valid Class C Driver's License with minimum of 3 years driving experience
Must be 21 years of age
Must be willing to engage in additional training on Early Childhood Education and research-based methods for working with children and families
Clean driving record with maximum 2 points in past 3 years, no DUI related citations, no marijuana possession or influence citations
CPR and First Aid Card
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods
Ability to safely lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend or squat as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Provide quality meals and snacks for all age groups at the site
Abide by all compliance and health/safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and timeliness in meal preparation
Aid with food for special events as directed
Follow allergy lists and special dietary needs for each child
Assist the site Chef on all CACFP compliance and kitchen responsibilities
Maintain oversight to promote safety during student transportation as a Bus Driver
Transport students safely and efficiently according to established routes and schedules
Maintain vehicles in clean and safe operating condition
Perform related duties as assigned
