Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Utah Food Handler's Permit
  • Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock the kitchen and prep stations before and during service
  • Prepare basic components of menu items, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and making sauces
  • Follow instructions and recipes provided by the kitchen manager and head chef
  • Ensure all food prep and storage areas comply with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, including proper handling of leftovers and waste
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
  • Assist in cooking and plating dishes alongside the kitchen team during service
