Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
- Capability to perform physical tasks required by the role such as standing, lifting, and handling food
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to comply with company policies and drug-free workplace standards
- Ability to complete required job training and assessments within prescribed timeframes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or fresh food preparation preferred
- Food handler certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to changing work scenarios
- Basic digital tool proficiency for inventory management and sales
- Commitment to member satisfaction and quality service
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- Maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
