Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period
- Passion for fresh food and member satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible hours and in other areas as needed
- Commitment to following company policies, including food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks during busy periods
Job Qualifications
- Food service experience
- Food handler certification in food safety preferred
- Ability to operate and sanitize food preparation equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to manage inventory and control waste
- Adaptability to changing work scenarios and business needs
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- Maintaining the sales floor according to company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates
- Utilizing digital tools to monitor production, product quality, and inventory management
