Job Qualifications
- Relevant experience in fresh food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and production plans
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to work in different scenarios
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology used in food preparation and sales
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in food service (preferred)
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in prepared foods area
- Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- Maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Utilizing digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- Managing inventory and rotating merchandise to ensure quality and date control standards
- Assisting customers according to company policies and procedures
- Adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
