Job Description

Sam's Club, a leading membership-only retail warehouse club, is known for delivering quality products at competitive prices. With a focus on value and member satisfaction, Sam's Club combines innovation and a dedication to superior service to create a shopping environment that exceeds customer expectations. Operating across the United States, the company offers a wide variety of products including groceries, electronics, home goods, and fresh prepared foods. As part of the Walmart family, Sam's Club benefits from the strength and scale of one of the world’s largest retailers, ensuring access to extensive resources and comprehensive benefits for employees.

The Prepared Meal and Rotisserie Chicken Associate role at Sam's Club is a dynamic and engaging position within the fresh foods department. This role centers on preparing fresh, high-quality food items daily, following precise recipes, and ensuring that rotisserie chickens are always warm, ready, and appealing to customers. Associates take pride in wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise correctly to guarantee the freshest products for members to enjoy at home. This role often requires multitasking effectively during busy periods, particularly when assisting members with bakery orders. The role is not just about food preparation; it’s about contributing to memorable family meals and elevating the customer shopping experience. Emphasizing member satisfaction, the role seeks individuals who exhibit passion for fresh food, adaptability, and an innovative spirit to overcome challenges. The associate is entrusted with maintaining a clean and sanitized sales floor area, adhering to company policies on food safety, quality control, inventory management, and sanitation standards.

This position is hourly, with a wage range from $19.00 to $27.00 per hour, reflecting experience, location, and operational needs. Additionally, performance-based incentives are offered quarterly or annually, rewarding dedication and excellence in service. Associates receive premium pay based on schedule, facility specifics, or seasonal demands, providing additional earning opportunities.

Employees also benefit from comprehensive health plans, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, alongside financial benefits like a 401(k), stock purchase plans, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off provisions cover vacation, sick leave, holidays, and other personal needs, with added parental leave and family care support. Sam's Club supports ongoing education through its Live Better U program, which offers full tuition, book, and fee coverage for eligible employees pursuing various educational pathways from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees.

This role is vital to ensuring that members encounter the highest standards in prepared food quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a team player, a quick learner, and a proactive problem solver who embraces technology to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction. Working at Sam's Club means being part of an inclusive environment that values integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement while focusing on the wellness and development of its associates.
