Maintaining stocked displays, ensuring food freshness through date checks and rotation, consolidating recyclables, and completing necessary documentation like temperature and spoilage worksheets are important responsibilities. Additionally, Team Members assist with inventory checks and support Team Leaders with organizing displays of volume and seasonal items.

Prepared Foods Team Members must be punctual, well-groomed, and ready to work for all scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position demands physical stamina, as it involves standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing movements such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Team Members must also be comfortable using tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, and electric pallet jacks, while complying with health and safety regulations including proper sanitation and safe work practices.

Job Duties

  • Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza
  • samples products to customers
  • stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods
  • checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates products when necessary
  • bails and consolidates recyclables
  • assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
  • completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
