They work collaboratively as part of a team, often on the frontline engaging with customers to answer questions, suggest products, and enhance sales through suggestive selling techniques. The role requires adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling standards and sanitation procedures. In addition, the job demands physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, and squatting. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability during nights, weekends, and holidays, is also necessary.

This entry-level position offers an opportunity for individuals to grow within the company, with the potential for wage increases after successful completion of 90 days of employment and eligibility for promotions based on performance and business needs. Whole Foods Market values diversity and equal opportunity, ensuring a fair hiring process that does not discriminate based on legally protected characteristics.
