Team Members are also responsible for ensuring all food displays and cases are well-stocked and appealing, performing quality checks including freshness and expiration date verification, and engaging customers through product sampling and friendly service. New Team Members who complete their initial 90 days successfully may be eligible for a base rate wage increase. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • able to stand and walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in temperatures ranging from freezing to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, and electric pallet jacks
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza
  • samples products to customers
  • stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods
  • checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary
  • bails and consolidates recyclables
  • assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
  • completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
