Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum five years of supervisory experience
- minimum three years of restaurant or deli experience
- valid Washington State Food Workers Card
- ability to perform duties of a Journeyman Prepared Foods Team Member
- strong customer service skills
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
- ability to conduct inventory management
- effective leadership and team development skills
- ability to comply with company policies and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum five years of supervisory experience
- proven history of developing personnel
- three years of restaurant or deli experience
- comprehensive knowledge and understanding of food, including ingredients, applications, pronunciations, and culinary skills
- knowledge of food safety, HACCP/Department of Health guidelines
- familiarity with inventory management
- understanding of gross profits and labor percentages
- creative merchandising and display skills
- strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- self-motivated with initiative
- experience working in a diverse team environment
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service and readily communicate product information to increase sales, meet revenue goals, and best serve guests
- Establish sales, gross profit, labor and supply budgets for the Prepared Foods Department, and maintain pricing to achieve budgeted gross profit goals
- Order all products for the Prepared Foods Department
- Plan and execute Prepared Foods Department merchandising and display, maintaining high-quality standards in product management and presentation
- Lead and readily participate in product promotions and focuses
- Create and distribute Prepared Foods Department weekly team member work schedule
- Lead by example and provide team members with clear expectations and timely feedback
- Train team members and provide performance feedback, coaching and counseling
- Prevent internal and external loss, and conduct quarterly physical inventories and practice inventory control
- Successfully perform all duties of a Journeyman Prepared Foods Team Member
