The company operates numerous stores across the country, each dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and a unique shopping experience that emphasizes fresh, wholesome food options.
Working at Whole Foods Market means more than just being a part of a grocery store; it means contributing to a larger purpose of nourishing people and the planet. This focus on meaningful change fosters a workplace culture centered around teamwork, growth, and community impact.
The position available is for a Team Member in the Prepared Foods section of Whole Foods Market. This role involves a variety of tasks including preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of prepared food products. The primary objective is to ensure that customers receive high-quality, fresh, and properly labeled food items while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The Team Member will engage directly with customers, assisting them in understanding Whole Foods Market’s product differences and promoting a positive experience. The role also requires adherence to established operating procedures, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Team Leaders have an active role on the floor, engaging with customers and supporting team members across various duties to help maintain a vibrant and efficient store operation. The position demands punctuality, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting. Candidate must be prepared to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and utilizing equipment like knives, box cutters, and pallet jacks safely.
Whole Foods Market offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $15.00 to $24.40, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package known as "Whole Benefits." These benefits include eligibility for a store discount, paid time off, financial wellness programs, and health and wellness support, available to both full-time and part-time team members. There is also potential for wage increases following successful completion of the initial probationary period.

This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for natural foods, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, and who are motivated by the mission to make a positive impact on their community and the world.
