The Kitchen Steward role at Whole Foods Market plays a crucial part in maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position involves duties such as washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other equipment, which are essential for maintaining food safety standards. Additionally, the Kitchen Steward is responsible for keeping kitchen floors, walls, shelves, and mats clean, handling deliveries, organizing and rotating products properly to minimize waste and ensure freshness. The role also involves working in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, supporting store initiatives and programs, and ensuring a positive company image through courteous and efficient customer service. This position offers an hourly wage range of $19.00 to $25.40, commensurate with experience.
