The role available is a Dishwashing Team Member position designed to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, which is critical to supporting the health and safety standards Whole Foods Market is known for. Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Ability to use single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling motions
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in kitchen area
- Assist with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
- Maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
- Follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
