The Dishwasher position at Whole Foods Market is an entry-level role pivotal to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen environment. This position involves performing all duties related to dishwashing, including washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other small wares essential for smooth kitchen operations. Team Members in this role assist with kitchen deliveries by properly storing, organizing, and rotating products to comply with food safety regulations.

Dishwashers are expected to manage opening, mid, and closing duties efficiently, ensure accuracy of pricing and signage, and immediately report any safety hazards or violations to uphold a safe workplace environment.

The compensation for this role ranges from $16.00 to $25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience. Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares
