The position available is for a Dishwasher, an entry-level role that is vital to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and throughout the store. This hourly role offers a wage range from $17.00 to $25.40, commensurate with experience, and additional benefits through the Whole Benefits program. The Dishwasher position involves performing all duties related to dishwashing and maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen area. This includes washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares to ensure a clean and safe cooking environment. Additionally, the role requires maintaining cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves, assisting with kitchen deliveries by properly storing and rotating products, and supporting the team by being punctual, well-groomed, and prepared for work shifts and training sessions.
Team members in this role must provide excellent customer service, addressing the needs of customers and fellow team members efficiently and courteously. They must follow all company procedures and health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. The role also involves supporting store, regional, and national programs aimed at promoting Whole Foods Market’s core values and quality goals.
The Dishwasher position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift, and perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. The work environment includes exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures, from freezing to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is also important.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds

- ability to work in wet and dry conditions

- ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
