Whole Foods Market is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Food Preparation Team Member. This role involves performing all functions related to the proper preparation and maintenance of food items in the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars. The ideal candidate will ensure food quality, presentation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include preparing food items according to production sheets and recipes, maintaining accurate labeling and rotation of products, and replenishing food levels promptly. The role requires excellent customer service skills, including addressing customer needs efficiently, modeling suggestive selling techniques, and providing courteous service at all times. Team Members are expected to comply with store procedures, health regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

The Food Preparation Team Member must have a good understanding of food production and basic cooking techniques, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position demands a passion for natural foods and Whole Foods Market's mission, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for 6-8 hours per shift, and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, and reaching.
