Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Physical stamina to endure long periods of standing and physical activity
- Must be a reliable team player
Job Qualifications
- Culinary experience or training is desirable
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Strong teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety procedures
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Willingness to be cross-trained in at least three service positions
Job Duties
- Prepare simpler food dishes such as washing, cutting, and portioning fresh items
- Assist kitchen staff in food preparation and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support other kitchen operations as needed
- Stand for extended periods during shifts
- Lift and carry items weighing between 25 to 50 pounds
