Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Physical stamina to endure long periods of standing and physical activity
  • Must be a reliable team player

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience or training is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety procedures
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 25 to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in at least three service positions

Job Duties

  • Prepare simpler food dishes such as washing, cutting, and portioning fresh items
  • Assist kitchen staff in food preparation and inventory management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Support other kitchen operations as needed
  • Stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Lift and carry items weighing between 25 to 50 pounds
