Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction sets them apart in the competitive pizza industry. With a focus on creativity and innovation, Pie Five has cultivated an inviting environment where guests can enjoy personalized pizza creations made quickly with fresh ingredients.
The Back of House (BOH) Team Member at Pie Five Pizza plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring the seamless execution of each guest's dining experience. This position requires team members who are organized, flexible, and detail-oriented to handle multiple tasks effectively under fast-paced conditions. The BOH team is responsible for performing all necessary back-of-house functions, including food preparation, cooking, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food quality meets company standards.
The BOH team member prepares and cooks pizzas according to specific recipes and quality guidelines, assists with other menu items such as spicy wings, salads, and desserts, and ensures portion control and food safety standards are strictly followed. They operate oven equipment safely and efficiently, maintain a sanitary workstation, and manage kitchen traffic flow to optimize productivity. This role also requires members to be certified in the Dough Master Program, which includes skills like rolling different styles of dough, preparing stuffed crust pizzas, and cleaning dough rollers. The ability to sustain physical stamina while working long shifts is necessary, as team members spend considerable time standing, bending, and lifting during their shifts.
Working as a BOH team member at Pie Five involves upholding company policies, completing opening and closing checklists, and contributing to a supportive team atmosphere. This hands-on role is vital to delivering the fresh, quality pizzas that Pie Five is known for and enhancing the overall customer experience. It offers a dynamic work environment where employees can develop culinary skills and advance within the restaurant industry.
