Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous kitchen experience in related roles
  • ability to work full-time or part-time
  • willing to obtain ServSafe Certification within 90 days
  • ability to work safely with knives and hot surfaces
  • physical stamina to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to participate in E-Verify

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for sushi and Japanese-inspired cuisine
  • strong customer service and communication skills in English
  • ability to follow cleaning and sanitizing guidelines
  • understanding of food safety best practices
  • ability to act cautiously in a kitchen environment
  • physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours
  • willingness to obtain ServSafe Certification within 90 days
  • prior kitchen experience as prep cook, line cook, sushi chef, sous chef, dishwasher or food runner

Job Duties
