Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED certification required
  • Six months dishwashing experience in a high-volume setting
  • Current Food Handler's Card
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass pre-employment or for cause drug tests
  • Ability to pass criminal background and DMV checks
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients, staff, and community
  • Agreement to comply with drug-free and alcohol-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED certification
  • Six months dishwashing experience in a high-volume setting
  • Knowledge of food preparation
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment and knives safely
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with team members and clients
  • Experience working with Native American or Alaska Native communities is a plus

Job Duties

  • Maintain compliance with NARA's policy and procedures, as well as state, county, and federal guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishes and kitchen area
  • Preps food that will be used in the creation of meals
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of kitchen department supplies and ordering materials as needed
  • Help serve meals to clients in cafeteria
  • Maintain effective working relationships with NARA staff
  • Attend facility and department meetings as needed
  • Attend training classes as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
