Job Requirements

1 year of experience in a similar role in a restaurant or professional kitchen
ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
strong work ethic reliability attention to detail and positive personality with a focus on providing good hospitality
ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast paced environment

Job Duties

wash dishes utensils pots and pans efficiently to keep kitchen operations running smoothly
maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area kitchen and storage spaces
assist with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables portioning ingredients and assembling prep items
properly store and label ingredients and supplies
take out trash and recycling ensuring kitchen sanitation standards are met
follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
assist kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed in front and back of the house
maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented environment
