Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of dishwashing experience in a high-volume setting
- Current Food Handler's Card
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass DMV check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general educational development (GED) certification required
- Six months dishwashing experience in a high-volume setting
- Knowledge of food preparation
- Ability to use kitchen equipment and knives in a safe manner
- Must be able to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must have a current Food Handler's Card
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients community and other staff members
- Work collaboratively with clients other NARA staff team members and to treat everyone with respect and dignity at all times
- Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered a plus
- Ability to pass a pre-employment or for cause drug tests
- Ability to pass criminal background and DMV checks
Job Duties
- Maintain compliance with NARA's policy and procedures as well as state county and federal guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes and kitchen area
- Prep food that will be used in the creation of meals
- Assist in maintaining inventory of kitchen department supplies and ordering materials as needed
- Help serve meals to clients in cafeteria
- Maintain effective working relationships with NARA staff
- Attend facility and department meetings as needed
- Attend training classes as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
