Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary or cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work 10-15 hours per week
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in senior living preferred
  • Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required
  • Great organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and presentation of food product
  • Ability to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items on grill, sauté station, salad bar and service line
  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods according to menu cycle and standardized recipes
  • Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
  • Work 10-15 hours per week
  • Adhere to food safety and handling regulations
