Job Requirements

  • Current COVID-19 vaccination
  • Routine COVID tests
  • Physical examination
  • TB test
  • Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Department of Justice

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work effectively with all personality types
  • Knowledge of kitchen machines and utensils
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements in food preparation and serving
  • Ability to cook, bake, and prepare food in large quantities
  • Ability to follow menus including those with special diets
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull 75 pounds up to 100 feet

Job Duties

  • Food prep and portioning prior to service
  • Stock shelves with incoming supplies
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks
  • Washing dishes and helping maintain a clean kitchen environment
  • Cook and prepare menu items in accordance with provided menus
  • Meeting visual service standards including proper plating and service of menu items
  • Ensuring compliance with prescribed diets
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of kitchen environment
