Job Description

Uchi Washington D.C. is the latest addition to the distinguished Uchi brand, a renowned name in the culinary world known for its elevated Japanese cuisine. Located in downtown Washington D.C. at 1150 17th Street NW, this establishment is part of Hai Hospitality, a multi-concept and award-winning restaurant group based in Austin, Texas, with a presence in multiple major cities including Austin, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale. Uchi, which means 'house' in Japanese, was founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole. The restaurant is celebrated for its unique blend of non-traditional Japanese dishes including signature tastings, sushi, and seasonal omakase menus, designed to create an unexpected and unforgettable dining experience.

Uchi Washington D.C. is currently seeking dedicated professionals as it prepares to open its doors in mid-May 2026, with orientation slated for mid-April 2026. The compensation for this role ranges from $18.40 to $21 per hour plus tips, offering a competitive wage reflective of the high standards the brand maintains. Job Requirements
