Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and written/verbal instructions accurately
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Adherence to a professional appearance, hygiene, and grooming policy

Job Duties

  • Prepares ingredients including washing, chopping, measuring, and portioning according to recipes and standards
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of prep areas, tools, and storage areas
  • Labels, dates, and stores food properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste
  • Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and equipment usage
  • Assists line cooks and kitchen team as needed during service
  • Participates in opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
