Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- wash, chop, measure, and portion food items for daily service
- label, date, and store ingredients properly
- maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, equipment, and storage
- assist line cooks and chefs with prep lists and daily tasks
- follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
- support the kitchen team during busy periods as needed
- communicate inventory needs or shortages to supervisors
