Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a kitchen environment preferred
- basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and preparation procedures
- wash, peel, chop, slice, and grate ingredients for use in recipes across the menu
- label, date, and store prepped food items properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- support line cooks and chefs by ensuring stations are stocked and ready for service
- maintain cleanliness and organization in all prep areas, walk-ins, and dry storage
- assist in daily food prep tasks including marinating proteins, making sauces, and assembling components
- follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times, including proper handling and storage procedures
