The role of Prep Cook/Line Cook at Nando's involves integral responsibilities that support the kitchen operations and ensure a high standard of food quality and consistency. Prep Cooks at Nando's are responsible for the daily preparation of food items, ensuring ingredients are fresh, and recipes are followed to maintain product standards. Working closely with management, Prep Cooks contribute to efficient service by having ingredients ready and by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols. The position demands the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to quality service and food preparation knowledge.

The physical requirements of the job include standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 15 pounds, and performing various movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and hand-eye coordination throughout shifts that can last 8-10 hours.
