Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience in a high volume food and beverage operation using similar cooking techniques
  • Food safety certified
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job including lifting up to 60 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand and arm use
  • Must adapt to work environment conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and company programs

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cooking techniques including butchering, sauces, soups, and cooking of meat, fish and vegetables
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Knowledge of company policies
  • Ability to anticipate problems and apply logical reasoning to solutions
  • Strong oral comprehension and expression skills
  • Experience with HAACP and food safety sanitation requirements

Job Duties

  • Follow standard recipes while preparing assigned food items
  • Collect food and beverage products and small wares for food preparation
  • Assist in plating food items for service
  • Handle leftover food items as necessary or directed
  • Operate food production equipment according to manufacturer instructions
  • Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices including HAACP guidelines
  • Clean banquet preparation and serving equipment, work stations, and kitchen areas
  • Return soiled food preparation utensils and small wares to proper areas
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation compliance
  • Conduct daily kitchen walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness and safety
  • Effectively communicate with management, associates, and vendors
  • Promote harmonious relations among staff, vendors, and the community
  • Participate in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings
  • Represent the club professionally through image, dress, and communication
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Uphold the TBCC mission and club brand in kitchen operations
  • Support corporate objectives and continuous improvement
  • Prioritize professional development
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
