This particular opportunity is for a cook position at The Original Pancake House, where candidates will work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen alongside a motivated team of cooks and servers. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepare up to 60 recipes at multiple quantities
  • monitor inventory levels of prepped items and ensure adequate preparation in a timely manner
  • provide order recommendations based on raw material inventory levels
  • maintain a safe and clean cooking area and kitchen environment
  • adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • assist and provide guidance or training to others when prompted
  • set up, clean, and organize workstations
  • prepare ingredients for the shift including washing, chopping, and making batters
  • cook according to food health and safety standards
  • recommend ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
  • handle multiple tasks at once
  • store food properly
  • sanitize and clean workstations and utensils
  • maintain organized storage areas
  • assist other cooks and team members as needed
