Canteen is currently hiring full-time Prep Cooks for their location at AutoZone - 123 South Front Street, Memphis, TN 38103. This role offers a full-time schedule from Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with a competitive pay range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour. Candidates will appreciate additional perks such as the opportunity to earn up to $500 in quarterly bonuses and internal employee referral bonuses. While previous deli prep and sandwich-making experience is preferred, Canteen welcomes candidates willing to train and grow within the company.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and maintain daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment according to department procedures
  • Store, label, and date all food items following company policies
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to maintain food safety and quality
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously at multiple stations
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
