Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate in health and sanitation as required by Arlington County Health Department
Serve Safe certification preferred
Two years experience in food service including institutional food production
Experience working in residential community settings
Ability to comply with state and federal confidentiality regulations
General computer knowledge including email and electronic timekeeping
Ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, and labels
Physical ability to sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or move up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks daily for approximately 60 patients
Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen facilities
Ensure kitchen meets health and safety standards
Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines accurately
Set boundaries while interacting with patients, maintaining professionalism
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
Safeguard confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations
