Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate in health and sanitation as required by Arlington County Health Department
- Serve Safe certification preferred
- Two years experience in food service including institutional food production
- Experience working in residential community settings
- Ability to comply with state and federal confidentiality regulations
- General computer knowledge including email and electronic timekeeping
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, and labels
- Physical ability to sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or move up to 10 pounds
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks daily for approximately 60 patients
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen facilities
- Ensure kitchen meets health and safety standards
- Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines accurately
- Set boundaries while interacting with patients, maintaining professionalism
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
- Safeguard confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations
