Job Requirements

  • full time or part time position with a flexible schedule
  • availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work shifts as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 2 a.m.
  • one year of full-service restaurant kitchen cook experience
  • internal candidates must be in good standing with no performance issues within the past year
  • combined work experience and education will be considered
  • associate's degree preferred but not required
  • state food handler's certification required

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of full-service restaurant kitchen cook experience
  • excellent knife skills
  • strong teamwork and communication abilities
  • passion for working with fresh and high quality ingredients
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • associate's degree in culinary, hospitality, management, or business preferred but not required
  • state food handler's certification

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients for cooking and assembly
  • adhere to recipe standards
  • clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workspaces
  • organize kitchen supplies and maintain order
  • collaborate with cooks, chefs, and food service managers
  • operate in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ensure food quality and safety standards are met
