Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • 4+ years of prep cook experience preferred
  • willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests
  • knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • preferred 4 or more years of prep cook experience
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow directions accurately
  • willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy guest needs

Job Duties

  • Follow the prep list created by the kitchen manager to plan duties
  • label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
  • measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
  • prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc
  • undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc
  • prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc
  • maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc
  • ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned by upper management
