Job Requirements

  • Previous prep cooking experience required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, standing for long periods and lifting
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous prep cooking experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and production schedules
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
  • Store, label and date all food items according to policy following HACCP guidelines
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
  • Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • Resolve customer concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
