Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a prep cook or in a commercial kitchen
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and prep instructions
  • Understanding of basic kitchen equipment and food safety standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Smartphone and email access for communication and shift scheduling
  • Consistent transportation to job sites in the Seattle, WA area
  • Required attire includes black cook shirt or chef coat, black pants, black non-slip shoes, and apron

Job Duties

  • Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients according to prep lists and recipes
  • Assist cooks and chefs with daily food preparation tasks
  • Properly label, store, and rotate food to ensure freshness and compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized prep station and kitchen area
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
  • Work efficiently and cooperatively with kitchen staff
  • Take direction from supervisors and adapt to different kitchen environments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen leads or management
