Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year restaurant experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene protocols

Job Duties

  • Follow all company safety guidelines including personal standards, food quality standards, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene
  • Wash hands frequently and between prepping items
  • Assist in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
  • Perform all assigned prep work, ensuring everything is labeled and dated correctly
  • Follow recipes and plating guides with 100% accuracy
  • Ensure all food meets safety, quality, and presentation standards
  • Receive product and deliveries, audit product for accuracy and date boxes or containers
  • Manage cleanliness of the walk-in and kitchen area
  • Clean and sanitize workstations between prep jobs to prevent cross-contamination
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly
  • Handle utensils, dishes, and equipment carefully to minimize breakage
  • Read all notices for BOH team members and attend team meetings
  • Be open to constructive feedback and mentoring
  • Be open to cross-training in multiple restaurant positions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned per business needs
