Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
- Able to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Able to handle single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling hand use
- Able to work in wet and dry conditions
- Ability to work in temperatures including below freezing, refrigerated, and above 90 degrees
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Cuts fruits and vegetables following all safety and sanitation rules
- Ensures product meets Whole Foods Market guidelines for quality and preparation
- Maintains sampling program
- Cleans department continuously and maintains sweep logs
- Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
- Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
- Follows and complies with established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Reports safety hazards and violations immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
