The Prep Cook role at Infuse Hospitality, specifically at Reiners Bar and Game Room, is essential to maintaining the high standards set by the company’s Culinary Management team. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience preparing food in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and company guidelines
  • Basic knife handling skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of prepping or line cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of food and basic cooking techniques
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of basic knife skills including chopping, dicing, peeling, slicing, and grating
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of basic kitchen appliances and equipment including robot coupe, deli slicer, mixer, immersion blender, bar blender, mandoline, and can opener
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with the Executive Chef and other team members
  • Flexibility to work alternating shifts including days, nights, and weekends
  • Positive attitude and interpersonal skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods

Job Duties

  • Follow and produce recipes and plates that adhere to company standards
  • Operate hotline equipment including oven, stove top, grill, deep fryer, salamander, and toaster
  • Maintain company sanitation standards as set by the Executive Chef and General Manager
  • Perform daily cleaning duties such as cleaning and sanitizing all hotline equipment, coolers, walk-in coolers, floors, prep surfaces, and equipment
  • Adhere to company standards of daily prep lists and par levels as set by the Executive Chef
