The role of Prep Cook at The Phoenician, located within this luxurious setting, offers a compelling opportunity for culinary associates eager to develop and refine their skills in a high-end kitchen environment. This full-time, non-management position involves preparing ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, and mixing to meet precise culinary standards. The Prep Cook will work closely with advanced kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare and cook various dishes according to established recipes and quality benchmarks. A key component of the role is the preparation of cold foods, alongside ensuring that food quality, presentation, and safety meet the resort's rigorous hospitality standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in a related culinary role
  • Prior experience in luxury restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Physical ability to stand walk bend lift 25 pounds for extended periods
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and safety procedures
  • Ability to work full time
  • Professional personal appearance

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties
