Job Requirements
- Prior prep cook experience
- availability to work Sundays and Mondays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- ability to comply with federal, state and local food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to operate kitchen equipment
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow instructions and complete documentation accurately
Job Qualifications
- Prior prep cook experience
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- basic food preparation skills
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to operate and clean kitchen equipment
- ability to maintain documentation and comply with health regulations
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- taste completed meals to ensure quality
- operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- store, label and date all food items according to policy following HACCP guidelines
- complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required
- comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
- resolve customer concerns
- perform other duties as assigned
