The Prep Cook role is crucial to our kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation is done to the highest standards and that dishes served meet our quality expectations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a prep cook and preferably hold a ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification, or be willing to obtain one. Strong knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential. The Prep Cook should also be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting over 30 pounds as part of daily responsibilities. Job Duties

  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
  • ensure freshness of food and ingredients through effective rotation and labeling of product in the walk-in
  • taste all prep to ensure it is cooked and seasoned correctly
  • respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
  • communicate with the incoming shift about prep items that need to be completed or prioritized
